On 24 May, Beijing’s leading MS neurologists organised a symposium for the media to help raise the Chinese general public’s consciousness about MS – a condition which is little known in China. Many  journalists from significant and widely-read publications attended, as well as a film crew from Beijing TV. The father of a young woman living with MS spoke movingly about his daughter’s condition and how it had affected their family.
