Unfortunately we are only able to provide tools and resources in five languages every year. Our colleagues at the Italian MS Society have subtitled the English campaign video to reach out to Italian speakers.  Thanks guys!

Six young people will share their mottos for identity, relationships and the future from 8 May. Get to know them below… Anna, 26, Russia. Anna was diagnosed when she was just 8 years old so has already been living with MS for more than 18 years! She works at a nursery and loves working with children. Brenda, 21, Argentina Brenda is 21 and was diagnosed with MS two years ago. She is currently studying Education studies at university and is a keen dancer too. She enjoys spending time with her friends, family and boyfriend, and of course her lovely doggie. Breea, 19, USA Breea was diagnosed one year ago and is still getting to grips with her MS. Freddie and George from Shift.MS get ready for World MS Day

George Pepper and Freddie Yauner spoke of their enthusiasm for the 2013 World MS Day Campaign at the MSIF Board meetings today to an audience of CEOs from around the world. The young founders and creators of online support platform Shift.MS gave a presentation about their work with young ‘MSers’ and the potential for future collaboration with MS organisations around the world. The development of digital and social media means that they are reaching beyond national and cultural boarders. People with MS in 180 countries are already taking advantage of the fantastic peer-support network (soon to be available in a number of languages) that the dynamic duo have pioneered. Change things for people with MS in your country

This is your opportunity to change things for people with MS in your country. On 23 September 2013 the United Nations General Assembly will meet with NGOs and civil society at a high level meeting on disability and development in New York.   The Millennium Development Goals, which aimed to address international development issues such as education, gender equality, hunger and maternal health are due to be achieved by 2015. Although more than 10% of the global population, and more than 20% of the world’s poorest people have a disability, disability was not referred to anywhere in the MDGs, targets or indicators.
