Bahrain Turns Out For MS Day 2012

Headed by Dr Adel Aljishi the Bahrain MS Society held a huge event on 10th June this year in support for World MS day 2012.

In partnership with the Bahrain Neuroscience Association they ran a series of lectures on multiple sclerosis presentation and therapies. There was also a Psychiatric lecture on depression within MS. The lectures were well attended by both people with MS and their families in the beautiful Movenpick hotel.

After the lectures and lunch came a group physiotherapy session followed by a fun presentation on good eating habits for people with MS. The whole day was a triumph and with the national television station and press giving plenty of coverage to the event it was a great success in raising awareness and sharing information about multiple sclerosis with the public too.
