This year’s World MS Day has been a great success! People in almost 80 countries around the world have come together to mark today with activities and events aiming to raise awareness of MS. This year the theme is “Living with MS” and we have used riddles to convey three key messages about MS:
• There is no known cause or cure for MS
• MS is usually diagnosed between the ages of 25 and 31 and lasts a lifetime
• People with MS have varying symptoms
We hope these will help increase public understanding of MS and how it affects people – you can see the riddles. Please help us share the riddles!
As always, people affected by MS are at the heart of our work, and today we are very exciting to launch our postcard wall displaying postcards created by people from 82 countries. Some will make you laugh, others will move you to tears, but all of them show what it is like to live with MS. It is not too late to make a postcard – click here to tell us what living with MS means to you.
