I am 58 and have been living with MS for 15 years I was paralized for a year but recovered suficiently to be able to drive my car and walk again. It is always encouraging to hear from someone like Ann that has, inspite of her disabillity. gone and done something possitive with her life. I believe after the initial devastation of discovering one has MS you need to go and sit down and dig into your resources and do something positive with your life. Because at the end of the day that is what keeps you going.

This is truly inspirational. I am 20 and have had MS since I was 16, so a lot less time than most people who have posted. I want to live a fulfilling life and do what I love: write. I am a journalism graduate, so I hope I will be able to tell the stories of inspirational people like you Ann, to the rest of the world that complains about everyday mundane annoyances!

I am 69 years old,retired 14 years ago from medical practice.I must have had MS for over 20 years but didnt think I could ever be sick.

I’m 59 and still working full time…having MS for 30 years now. Glad to see others working with this mess too. Afraid if I start sitting down…I will stay sitting down, so when the alarm clock goes off..Judy’s off to work!

Ann, like you, I am 60 years of age and have been dealing with MS for about 10 years now. What an inspiration you are as I am now in a wheelchair (got tired of falling) and have just started rethinking my “wheelchair” wardrobe.
