On 24 May, Beijing’s leading MS neurologists organised a symposium for the media to help raise the Chinese general public’s consciousness about MS – a condition which is little known in China.

Many  journalists from significant and widely-read publications attended, as well as a film crew from Beijing TV.

The father of a young woman living with MS spoke movingly about his daughter’s condition and how it had affected their family. Doctors answered questions from the media and briefed them on MS in China.
