There’s only 1 day to go until WMSD 2010, the global movement is mobilising! With only one day to go until WMSD 2010 people all over the world are preparing for a day of activities. With action planned in 65 countries across the globe World MS Day 2010 will certainly be a day to remember. Oscar-winning sound engineer Resul Pookutty, Bollywood film director Mahesh Bhat, and world renowned Yoga Acharya, founder of the Iyengar yoga movement – BKS Iyengar, pledge their support to World MS Day and the MS Society of India. People with MS celebrate World MS Day in Egypt

Almost 200 people joined a day’s worth of seminars and discussion at the Canadian International College in Cairo to celebrate World MS Day 2010 A 4 hour planned activity turned into 8 hours when people living with MS, their friends and family, came together to join the global movement to end MS. At 12 p.m. private buses brought guests from their homes to the Canadian International College in Cairo for a dedicated event for MS patients and their families. 186 guests attended the event including several doctors specialising in the field of neurological diseases. T-shirts were distributed as a gift to participants and an outdoor lunch with the opportunity to socialise with new friends was the highlight of the day. Merck Serono join the global movement to end MS

Merck Serono, an international pharmaceutical company, hold events to raise awareness of MS Merck Serono is encouraging employees to find out more about the people who use their products and to join the movement to end MS all together! Charity single released for World MS Day

Tara Ryan releases a single with all proceeds going to MS Society of Limerick, Ireland Tara began her professional singing career as a Bunratty Castle entertainer and progressed to study at the Leinster College of Music and then in New York at the Mannes Opera Studio. She spent a further two years studying in Italy with Joan de Christafaro at La Scala. In 1998 she joined the world famous ‘Gaelforce Dance’ as the lead singer touring with them for four years around the globe.  She played to sell-out venues every night amongst them the fabulous Royal Albert Hall.
